My name is Marcela Passos. I am an Artist and Designer studying at the University of Michigan, pursuing a dual degree in Art and Design and UX/UI Design.
I'm inspired by the everyday. Through sketching, I seek to discover the subtle beauties of mundane life, whether it’s the pattern on a tree or the color of a building. I use art to learn more about the world around me and myself.
I'm passionate about using Design as a medium to share the beauty I discover and, more importantly, to connect with others in meaningful ways. Through the never-ending design process of learning and growing, I hope to create vibrant and energetic visual communication solutions.

In my free time, I'm an avid music listener, rock climber, and outdoor enthusiast. I recently visited 9 national parks in 2 weeks with my two best friends, driving across the country in a modest Prius. Since the trip, I can confirm that national parks are definitely America's best idea. Of course, my greatest passion is art and design. I enjoy learning about art history and love visiting museums locally and especially when I travel. My favorite museums have been Museo de Arte de Puerto Rico and the Van Gogh Museum in Amsterdam.
